YS FALLS


The YS Falls is comprised of eight individual cascades falling 120 feet. One of the most beautiful and well-kept attractions in Jamaica.

A tractor-drawn jitney takes you through fields of Guango, Cotton, Quickstick and Cedar trees where thoroughbred racehorses and Jamaican Red Poll cattle graze. At the end of the ride lies the waterfall, complete with calm pools for swimming, picnic areas, changing rooms and a Tarzan-style rope swing!



For those on a slower pace, go for a natural water massage. Guides lead you over the falls to sit under one of the eight cascades for a soothing back massage.

For an additional fee you can go on a 45 minute tubing excursion down the YS River starting at the bottom of the falls and ending up further downstream where the jitney will pick you up.



Note: Plan to visit during the week. The Falls become crowded on the weekends as local Jamaicans visit to relax and enjoy the falls. When you go bring a picnic and make a day of it.

Hours: 9:30am – 3:30pm
Travel Time: 45 minutes
Special Note: Closed Mondays and Public Holidays. Rainy months are May and October and at this time the river generally comes down in spate and swimming may be suspended.
