About St. Elizabeth & Treasure Beach
Treasure Beach is a retrospective look back in time. The unspoiled southern coast remains relatively undeveloped and hassle-free. You will discover a treasure in the colorful variety of butterflies, birds, beautiful flowers and tropic vegetation surrounding you. An added delight are the tropical fish that can be seen while snorkeling in the neighboring cove.

Weatherwise, the Santa Cruz Mountains keep rains to a minimum, so there are bright sunny skys almost year-round at Taino Cove. Bring plenty of sunscreen!

On the quiet side of Jamaica, St. Elizabeth boasts an incredibly diverse terrain. There are deserted beaches all along the southern coastline with picturesque fishing villages and small sandy coves hidden among the rocks.

Treasure Beach is ideal for long solitary walks. The Great Pedro Bluff can be reached from the beach at Great Bay by following the tracks used by fishermen and goats. It is a dry scrubland that possesses a desolate beauty. Golden sunsets and the gentle rhythm of waves caressing the shore make walks along the beach a sybaritic pleasure.
